Red Mug

In the Chinese culture, 

the colour red symbolises vitality, 

it symbolises happiness and good luck. 

I like the idea of surrounding my coffee with red ceramic 

For the coffee to absorb all the luck 

and later release it into my bloodstream. 

For the coffee to then glide and sway around my body, 

forcing my heart to beat in a calming rhythm, 

forcing my lips to curl upwards, 

forcing my eyes to shine. 

For the last few sips of coffee that lasted longer in the cup, 

soaked with all the red energy,  

gives my brain the vitality it needs to start the day.
