C'est La Vie!

New Year's fireworks in Edinburgh

Here is a proper post wishing you in it a very happy new year with the typical fireworks picture everyone seems to start their posts with. I'm looking forward for what 2014 has for me, it started of really well. Warning! Pictures overload!

On New Year's Eve my sister and I went to Edinburgh. Our initial plan was to go straight to the hotel we booked which was around 10 minutes away from the airport (the airport is around 20 minutes from the city centre). We reached around 10 pm and decided to have dinner at Pizza Express. By the time we were done we realised only an hour is left till 12 am and we decided to sit and watch the fireworks. Great experience! We then realised, after all the fun, that there are no buses going to the aiport and we had to take a taxi to the hotel (had to pay £80 for that! Not cool!)

The next morning we took a taxi to the airport heading to Paris!!! I'm typing this out and still can't believe I went to Paris. We stayed there for 3 nights at one of the Disney hotels. On the day we arrived we went to Disneyland park just to see the closing show. Magical! Just magical! We had dinner at the Leduig Restaurant and went back to the hotel

From the closing show. Pictures don't do the castle justice!

Day 2 was spent walking around the parks, taking pictures and just enjoying the magic. We decided not to play any games as the waiting lines were extremly long and we wanted to just see all the different sections of the park. We also got to see the parade. If I think its magical and I'm 21 what do younger kids think of the place. Definitely heaven!

Day 2. I wish I can go back!

Day 3 happened to be my sister's birthday. We decided to go to central Paris and just visit the main attractions. Our first stop was the Notre Daem we then went to see the Arc de Triomphe followed by tea at Angelina. We then went to see the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. I also treated myself to a purchase from Tiffany. We then went back to Disney for a dinner at the Mickey Caffe where we celebrated the sister's birthday.

Touristy pictures!

Day 4 was a sad one. We decided to go to the Disneyland park one last time before we leave and all I could think of is not wanting to leave. We then went to the airport and back to the UK.

Peek-a-boo!!

The End!

I hope you're enjoying 2014, I'm definetly loving it.
2014 is my year, Paris is my city and Disneyland is my home
